Presenting at the ITU D Study Group 1 Meeting on behalf of RIFEN
Details
At the second meeting of Study Group 1 on 24 October 2023, I presented a contribution on Q6/1 on behalf of RIFEN. My submission described India’s success in Digital Transformation via Digital Public Infrastructure backed by regulations that promote competition, innovation and consumer trust and make digital services universally accessible. As per the ITU, Digital transformation encompasses technological innovation, digitisation and market liberalisation. India’s DPI enables this by facilitating access, adoption and value creation. IRIFEN promotes the participation of women and girls across the globe, especially in developing countries, in international digital governance.
