In this worshop, I spoke about the importance of agile regulation and multi-stakeholder cooperation while sharing insights from India’s regulatory experience.
There are no easy answers, but keeping the dialogue open, mutual learning and course correcting can help the industry, states and the global community to promote digital empowerment and consumer safety.
A solid foundation of trust between stakeholders and in digital technology is essential to maximise its benefits and minimise potential harm.
ITU-D’s Study Group 1 focuses on the all-important enabling environment for meaningful connectivity such that users have a safe, satisfying, enriching and productive online experience at an affordable cost.
